The Fundación Española de Hematología y Hemoterapia (FEHH) is announcing a programme of 8 grants to be taken up in 2026: 7 from the FEHH and 1 in collaboration with the Grupo Español de Leucemia Linfocítica Crónica (GELLC). The grants are intended for members of the Sociedad Española de Hematología y Hemoterapia (SEHH) who wish to carry out a research project at a Spanish centre.

The aim of this programme is to award 8 grants for the employment of researchers in research organisations, in order to promote research in Haematology and the start of researchers’ professional careers in this field, supporting their integration into Haematology units. To this end, the beneficiaries will contribute to the development of a scientific project directly related to the subject area of the speciality of Haematology and Haemotherapy.

The grants for the employment of researchers will last for one year.

The placements will last for a maximum of twelve months in a single period, coinciding with the calendar year, with a variation of 30 days at the beginning and end, except for fourth-year residents (7 months). The placement must begin and end on the dates indicated in the award resolution and may not exceed 90 days from the date of its award. The start date may only be postponed or brought forward in exceptional, fully justified cases, at the discretion of the FEHH Research Committee.

Applicants must submit their application before 12:00 noon on 25 September, together with the evaluation request form, for assessment by the iiSGM Research Commission email link(ELIMINAR).

This call does not fund indirect costs (overhead), so express authorisation must be obtained from the Foundation before applying, by sending a request and co-financing commitment at least 10 days before the application submission deadline to email link(ELIMINAR). If the employment of staff is requested, the category must be indicated so that the Foundation can determine whether a co-financing commitment for the contract is also required.
