Innovation Support Unit (UAI)
What is it?
The Innovation Support Unit (UAI) is a structure that channels innovative ideas or proposals from the IiSGM and HGUGM.
The UAI performs the functions of a Research Results Transfer Office.
It provides support and advice throughout the different stages of the innovation or transfer process, with the aim of enabling these ideas to become products or services that add value to the healthcare system and society.

Coordinate and develop biomedical innovation initiatives among IiSGM professionals that provide a fluid communication and information environment and support the innovative activities generated to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and its benefit to society.
Vision
Be a benchmark in its field of activity and establish itself as a structure with the capacity to promote and manage the innovative activities developed at IiSGM and HGUGM, as well as having the effective capacity to transfer research results to the productive sector, fostering a culture of innovation within the organisation that transforms the knowledge generated into value.

The ISCIII call for the IMPaCT Precision Medicine Infrastructure has been approved
On July 28, the Council of Ministers approved the ISCIII call for proposals for IMPaCT.
Its objective is to consolidate the Precision Medicine infrastructure in the National Health System through three fundamental pillars.
