ESCMID Research Grants help support the next generation of researchers in Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, offering them a fundamental starting point in their scientific funding career. These grants represent a unique opportunity to conduct research into bacterial or fungal/viral/parasitic infections and diseases in alternate years. Within this call, applications are accepted under the new “Women in Science” category.
Interested applicants must notify the foundation of their intention to apply at least 10 working days in advance (email link(ELIMINAR)). If the recruitment of staff is requested, the category must be indicated so that the Foundation can calculate whether co-financing of the contract is required.
These grants provide funding of up to €20,000 per project and the budget must include a minimum of 15% in indirect costs (overhead), calculated on the total grant amount.
