The Junior Leader - Retaining 2027 call from the Fundación "la Caixa" offers 20 three-year postdoctoral fellowships for researchers of any nationality to develop projects in STEM disciplines (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) at universities or research centres in Spain or Portugal. The programme is aimed at doctoral graduates who meet the mobility and previous experience requirements established in the rules, and provides total funding of up to 320,100 euros per fellowship to cover both employment and research costs, as well as additional mobility and family allowances.
Submission of this application will initially require acceptance by the principal investigator/group of the commitment to make available the funds necessary to finance any part of the employment costs that exceeds (due to the application of employment regulations or the collective agreement), or may exceed in the future (for example, salary increases, increases in Social Security contributions, etc.), the financial support awarded under the call.
Interested parties must submit their application before 12:00 noon on 15 September, together with the evaluation application form, for assessment by the iiSGM Research Committee email link(ELIMINAR). They must also notify their interest in applying at least 10 working days before the submission deadline for the call email link(ELIMINAR).
