III "Malena Garrido" Research Grant 2026

La Asociación Española de Esclerodermia has opened the call for applications for the III "Malena Garrido" Research Grant 2026, in memory of Elena García. This year’s funding amounts to 22,000 €, intended for robust scientific projects lasting 18 months and contributing to improving the quality of life of people living with this rare disease.
Applicants must submit their application to the foundation before 22 November 2026, at 12:00, together with the evaluation application form, for assessment by the iiSGM Research Committee email link(ELIMINAR). They must request 15% overhead in the budget, adequately justifying the need for it.
Requirements
- Be affiliated with a public or private non-profit entity qualified to conduct scientific research in Spain.
- Have at least two research articles published or accepted for publication as an author or co-author in a peer-reviewed scientific journal at the time of submitting the application. Publications dated after the application will not be accepted.
