The European initiative EP PerMed (European Partnership for Personalised Medicine), whose objective is to promote a healthier future through research and innovation in personalised medicine, has launched the pre-announcement of its 2027 transnational project call, Cell and Gene Therapy for Personalised Medicine (CGT4PM2027).
This call will aim to fund transnational human health research projects focused on the development and validation of innovative cell and gene therapies for application in personalised medicine.
Proposals must address at least one of the following therapeutic approaches:
- Somatic cell therapies.
- Gene therapies.
- Combined cell and gene therapies.
- Novel biological products, such as mRNA, other nucleic acid-based methods and extracellular vesicles used as vehicles for gene-based therapeutic procedures.
Projects targeting any disease will be funded and the call will be conducted in two application stages:
- The deadline for submitting pre-proposals is expected to be 20 January, at 14:00.
- The deadline for submitting full proposals upon invitation will be 25 May 2027, at 14:00.
