FIBHGM signs a solidarity agreement with the documentary “Kilimanjaro. La importancia del momento” to promote sarcoma research

The agreement with the production company means that all the funds raised through this documentary will be allocated entirely to research, development and innovation at the Marañón Sarcoma CSUR.

The Fundación de Investigación Biomédica del Hospital Gregorio Marañón (FIBHGM) has signed a collaboration agreement to mark the premiere of the documentary "Kilimanjaro. La importancia del momento". Teresa Fernández Alonso, the organisation's managing director, was responsible for signing the agreement on behalf of the Foundation.

The Aula Magna "Profesor Alberto Tejedor", located in the healthcare centre, experienced moments of great emotion during the screening of the documentary, which tells the true story of Miguel Ángel's determination to overcome adversity: a patient with sarcoma who decided to climb mountains after being told that he would not even be able to climb stairs.

Thanks to the agreement between the production company CeLEO and the FIBHGM, all the funds raised through this documentary will be allocated entirely to research, development and innovation at the CSUR de Sarcomas del Marañón.
