European HR Excellence Seal

IiSGM signed and sent to the European Commission the declaration of commitment to the principles of the "European Charter for Researchers" and the "Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers".
We received the response approving the principles of the "Charter and Code" and in which we accepted the commitment to implementing HRS4R.
The HRS4R strategy is a tool launched by the European Commission to support universities, research institutions and organisations that fund research in implementing the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, the aim of which is to contribute to the development of an attractive European labour market for researchers.
The Charter and the Code of Conduct are recommendations from the Commission to the Member States, which are invited to apply them voluntarily:
- European Charter for Researchers: The European Charter for Researchers is a set of general principles and requirements that define the roles, responsibilities and rights of researchers, employers and funders.
- Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers: The Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, which does not differ greatly from the usual recruitment rules, underlines the importance of open and transparent recruitment procedures, as well as diverse and experienced selection panels.
HR Award
The quality seal awarded by the European Commission, "HR Excellence in Research", identifies the universities and institutions that create and support the existence of a stimulating and encouraging research environment.
To date, 426 organisations, 78 of them Spanish, have received the "HR Excellence in Research" award.
IISHGM welcomes and supports the European Commission Recommendations containing the "European Charter for Researchers" and the "Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers", undertaking, in accordance with its internal policies, to continue developing its internal human resources strategy, adhering to the recommendations and principles established in the Charter and the Code, and to ensure transparency, accessibility, fairness and the pursuit of excellence in the recruitment of researchers.
Currently, following the design work carried out over the past few months, we are in the process of including all the documentation generated on the Euraxess online platform in order to obtain the favourable initial assessment.
